BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Richard Dickinson began his career in the security industry as Vice President and Treasurer of Burns International in the early 1980’s. Since then, he has spent more than 25 years in the industry in senior financial and general management positions for both large and small companies alike. During those years, he has gained hands on experience successfully solving the same kinds of problems faced by all security companies today. He has helped small companies achieve their growth objectives and has stabilized troubled organizations.

In 1989, he joined three former senior Burns executives at United Security Group, Inc. in New York where he held the position of Vice President, CFO and member of the Board until 1995 when the company was acquired by Command Security Corp (OTC BB: CMMD). At that time he joined Command as the CFO of the combined entities until 1997. At Command, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Board.

Beginning in 1997, Richard spent six years as Vice President and CFO of Dynamic Security, Inc. with overlapping operational responsibilities. During his tenure, the company doubled its revenue base in its core markets and became a well respected regional company capable of competing successfully against the national firms in the southeast United States.

Richard formed Dickinson Security Management Group in 2003 as a vehicle to utilize his experience and ability in assisting senior managers and shareholders of contract security companies reach their full potential.

Richard earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, New Jersey.

He is a member of ASIS International and ASSIST (Associated Security Services and Investigations of the State of Texas).

Richard has been a guest lecturer at ASSIST conferences and is a regular speaker at seminars focused on “How to Successfully and Profitably Grow Your Security Company”.
